COREY TAYLOR: Quality Footage Of NAMM Acoustic Performance Posted Online

January 21, 2010

Brian ILL of Crystal Cove Media has uploaded video footage of SLIPKNOT/STONE SOUR frontman Corey Taylor's acoustic performance at the Marshall booth at this year's NAMM (National Association Of Music Merchants) show, which was held January 14-17, 2010 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California. Watch the clips below.

STONE SOUR has scrapped previously announced plans to work with producer Rob Cavallo on its third studio album. No reason was given for the departure of Cavallo, whose credits include GREEN DAY, PARAMORE, KID ROCK, MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE, SHINEDOWN, AVRIL LAVIGNE and others. Instead, STONE SOUR will begin work on the new record at Blackbird Studio in Nashville with producer Nick Raskulinecz, known for his work with FOO FIGHTERS, RUSH and ALICE IN CHAINS.

Raskulinecz previously worked with STONE SOUR on the band's gold-selling 2006 effort, "Come What(ever) May".
Both previous STONE SOUR albums have sold more than half a million copies and are approaching the platinum mark in sales, bolstered by hits like "Bother", "Through Glass" and "Silly World".

Taylor and STONE SOUR guitarist Jim Root also play in SLIPKNOT.
